Depends on what you have.
Many photographers in small low-resolution images on a Web site to speed the process along (in addition to reducing costs - no CD, envelopes, postage). Others will send you a CD.
Paper tests are going to be the most expensive. Depending on your customers can do. Most people are very familiar with the Internet to work with digital evidence, but if you pictures of some 50 years ago - the real picture!
If you look at digital - Internet or CD - a watermark.
